As the countdown to the 2nd edition of NGWA DAY holding on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Ngwa High School, Aba, closes in, the Media/Publicity subcommittee has evolved a 30-Day Content Calendar and perfected arrangements for publicity blitz on different digital platforms to precede the main Event.
The decision for the media buildup of activities preceding Ngwa Day 2025 was reached at the online meeting of the Media/Publicity Subcommittee held on November 5, 2025 that had the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Dr. Chukwuma Ahiaraumunna Offor, FCA, KSJI in attendance.
The Media/Publicity subcommittee Chairman, Mr. Ukaobisike Uzoije explained that the rationale behind the 30-day Content Calendar is to intensify publicity and generate enough awareness in the last 30 days leading to the event in social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Tick Tok, Twitter, YouTube, WhatsApp as well as other digital platforms in addition to other releases that are ongoing including Press releases.
According to Mr. Ukaobisike Uzoije, streaming of the 30-day Content Calendar which commences on November 28, 2025 and spans across December 28, 2025, is particularly designed to engender excitement, engagement and awareness to elicit mass participation at the Event.
Subcommittee Chairman stated that they have created a variety of innovative contents to engage the teeming social media audience and followers of Nde Ngwa, pointing out that the contents will also serve as sensitization and reminder of the anticipated Events starting with the Rally on December 26, the Symposium on December 27 culminating in the grand finale on December 28.
Elucidating further, Mr. Ukaobisike Uzoije said: “The contents will take the form of graphics, artworks, short videos and carousel – this is like a slideshow or a rotating display of images or contents.”
Speaking in the same vein, the Chairperson of the Contact/Mobilization Subcommittee, Lady Vivian Irondi whose subgroup is spearheading effective mobilization and participation at the Ngwa Day 2025 celebration, commended Mr. Ukaobisike Uzoije and his ingenious team for developing the concept of a 30-day Content Calendar to further complement the efforts of her team. She asserted that the 30-day social media content calendar is a great step in the right direction.
In her words; “The Contact/ Mobilization Subcommittee has so far done a great job. But we have not been able to reach all Ngwa persons across the globe. We are therefore elated and confident that the 30-day content calendar of the media and publicity hype will help collectively to achieve wider mobilization towards a successful Ngwa Day 2025.”
