OHA NTIGHA UNITY FORUM, an apex Socio–political group in Ntigha clan has congratulated one of their own, and an illustrious Son of Ntigha Clan, Dr John Austin Chikezie on his recent elevation as a professor of medicine by the Abia State University uturu.
In a release, the group described the elevation as indeed a round peg in a round hole, considering his years of immense contribution, commitment, dedication and devotion to his chosen career.
The group states, “Professor Chikezie is an embodiment of hardwork, hence we are proud of his enviable towering heights both as an academia and in community service, we are proud of him”.

They further expressed gratitude to His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti and the ABSU Governing council for finding him fit to wear the new badge of honor, maintaining that professor Chikezie will live up to the confidence reposed on him, with their utmost assurance that his latest elevation is simply a motivation for him to deepen excellence and add more value to the academic community.
The forum while outlining some of the giant strides he recorded while he served a member of the State Executive Council as Former Health Commissioner, Head of Department of Medicine, Abia State University, Deputy Provost, College of medicine and Health Sciences Abia State, Board Chairman Abia State University Teaching Hospital Aba, among several others, expressed confidence that Professor Chikezie will no doubt bring his wealth of experience to bear and further put Ntigha clan, Abia State and indeed Nigeria on the global map of honor and Excellence, and wished him well on the new feather that has been added to him.
