SOUTH EAST PROGRESSIVE TRADITIONAL RULERS COUNCIL HAILS PRESIDENT TINUBU’S “PHENOMENAL” CHOICE FOR SEDC BOARD.
South East Progressive Traditional Rulers Council has hailed President Bola Tinubu for what it described as “phenomenal” choice in his appointment of board members of the South – East Development Commission (SEDC).
In their congratulatory message signed by it Chairman, His Royal Majesty (HRM) Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu , who is also the traditional ruler Umudiawa Ancient Kingdom in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State, the monarchs commended President Bola Tinubu for selecting men of proven integrity and vast experience as pioneer board members of the SEDC.
The South East Progressive Traditional Rulers Council noted that by the appointment with Chief Emeka Wogu as the board Chairman, the president has shown that he is interested in the development of the South East geo-political region.
The royal fathers in the same vein expressed appreciation to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu for nominating Chief Chukwuemeka wogu and other board members from Abia State.
They expressed confidence that with the calibre of men on the board of the SEDC, that the region will witness sustainable development.
The royal fathers called on the leadership of the 10th Senate to fast track the confirmation of Chief Emeka Wogu and other members of the the board so that they will get to work immediately.
