LEADERSHIP OF 10TH NATIONAL ASSEMBLY: MORE REPUTABLE ORGANIZATIONS THROWS WEIGHT BEHIND SEN. ORJI-KALU

A reputable social media group, Ngwafactsnews has identified with the aspiration of His Excellency, Sen Dr Orji Uzor Kalu for the position of the Senate President of the 10th National Assembly.

The endorsement came barely 24 hours after the organization resolved to impress on the ruling APC to reconsider their position, and zone the office of the president of the 10th Senate to the South East where the former Governor comes from.

In a statement signed by the president and CEO of Ngwafactsnews Media Reporters, Hon Achilihu Destiny, the organization called on other well meaning Abians, stakeholders of APC South East, the APC NWC and the Senators Elect to support and endorse Sen Dr Orji Uzor Kalu for Senate President.

In his words, “APC NWC and the 108 Senator Elects should consider Southeast for the position of the Senate President in the interest of equity, justice and fair Play, hence His Excellency Senator Orji Uzor Kalu is appropriately qualified, competent and experienced and qualified to steer the ship of the National assembly”.

Continuing, the outfit insists that Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu has paid his dues, not only to his party, the APC, but to the entire nation, describing him as a detribalised Nigerian, recalling the several roles he has played in preserving the unity of the country Right from his days as the Governor of Abia State.

The group further promised not to relent in drumming support for the Senator representing Abia North senatorial Zone, adding that today’s Nigeria needs men with courage and tenacity which they said Senator Kalu possesses.

They called on the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to review the situation and ensure that the right and appropriate thing is done, as the nation can only witness stability when all sections of the country are carried along in decision making.
