2023 ABIA GUBER: CHIEF AHIWE ASSURES OF INCLUSIVENESS AS APC LEADERS, MEMBERS DUMPS PARTY, DECLARES SUPPORT FOR CHIEF OKEY AHIWE ỌF THE PDP
The People’s Democratic party Governorship hopeful in this year’s general elections, Chief Okey Ahiwe has promised to run a government of inclusiveness, where no one will be left behind irrespective of party, Zone or religion.
Chief Ahiwe gave the assurance when he played host to Ukwa Ngwa faction of the Excos, leaders and members of the APC in the state, urged them to keep fate with him, maintaining that his quest to become the next Governor of Abia State is driven by his passion to fast track the development of the state, assuring the APC members that he’ll not disappoint them and the entire Abians if elected.
Speaking on behalf of the group earlier, Hon Onyenkwere Joshua Mentor from Isiala Ngwa North, Hon Ezinwa Nwauzor from Isiala Ngwa South, Hon. UCHE Moses from aba North LGAs said their decision to throw their weight behind his candidacy was in the interest of peace and stability of the state, adding that it is only fair, Just and equitable for the people of Old Aba division to be aper with their old Bende brothers in power equation of the state, hence they have found credibility and competence in the candidacy of Chief Okey Ahiwe, promising to ensure his victory come 18th of March 2023.
The event later witnessed various goodwill messages from various stakeholders a nd political leaders from Within and outside the zone including the former member that represented the Aba North/South Federal constituency, Hon Uzo Azubuike.
The group had other leaders in attendance HON. Chijioke Nwaogu, Aba South, Ahaoma Omeonu, Osisioma Ngwa LGA, Hon Ihesiulo Obioma,
Obingwa LGA, Hon . Young Nwaogazi, Ugwunagbo LGA, Apostle Abraham Isiguzo, Ukwa West LGA, Hon Ernest Sunday, Ukwa East LGA, all the LGA women leaders and ward Chairmen from the Zone among other LGA and ward Executive members were present at the event.
