The APC Candidate for Federal House of Representatives for Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency in the 2023, general Election, Barrister Chijioke Ikpo (Nwachief) has condoled the family of Prof Ikonne over the death of Prof Eleazar Uche Ikonne, who until his death was the Governorship Candidate of the People’s Democratic party, in Abia State. In a condolence message he issued to the press at his Nsulu Umuomainta residence, Barrister Chijioke Ikpo expressed shock.
” I received the news of the death of Prof Eleazar Uche Ikonne with shock. My condolences to the immediate family, the wife and the first Son Dr Ikonne Chikezie over the sudden death of their patriarch.
I want the family to take Solence in God and for the fact that the late professor lived a fulfilled life. He was a gentleman and a peaceful person. His death is a great loss to our Nsulu people and Isiala Ngwa North LGA at large.
As a mark of respect in honor of the departed, I have directed that every of my political activities be suspended till further notice.
I urge our people to pray for the family and not to play politics with issues of life and death.
Barrister Ikpo then prayed God to accept the soul of Prof Ikonne and grant the family, Nsulu people and the entire isiala Ngwa North LGA the fortitude to bear the loss.
