Dr Desmond Chimaobi Anyaso is a result – oriented Chief Executive Officer with over 15 years of practical experience leading a dynamic Conglomerate and recording exponential growth. Having been recognized locally and internationally as one of Nigeria’s most outstanding young leaders of thought, Dr Anyaso’s impact is not only felt in the board rooms but also in the slums.

He was Born on 16th September, 1980 In Aba (Enyimba City). Dr Chima Anyaso is a native of Igbere in Bende LGA, Abia State.
He had both his elementary and secondary education in Abia State and proceeded to Ebonyi State University where he obtained Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in English and Literature.
Very early in his life, Chima shown strong passion in business and entrepreneurship having been inspired by his parents who were successful traders.
Dr Desmond Chimaobi Anyaso has also shown great commitment in his academic pursuits. He has BA in English and Literature, M.sc in Management, University of Lagos, Executive Management Certification, Peter J. Tobin College of Business, St John University Manhattan New york.
Upon graduation, he worked at various capacity in Elmline Nig Ltd, South Globe Ltd, Traqui Ltd and Geo Bureau de change, where he picked up valuable experience and in the process made considerable positive impression.
His stint at Aquitaine Oil and Gas Ltd was particularly significant in establishing his reputation as an upright young man in the oil sector.
By 2006, he felt sufficiently proficient in the working of the industry to resign from Aquitaine and form his own company, Caades Oil and Gas Ltd. It was an ambitious and quite risky move by any means given his young years, but it was to prove ultimately profound and somewhat providential given the spread with which the new company was to grow. The growth of caades culminated quickly in the formation of Ceecon Energy Oil and Gas Ltd, which was eventually to become the flagship of his corporate fleet. In no time, Ceecon had secured a pride, in the country’s Ivy league of petroleum conglomerates. The company has since generated a turnover in excess of $1 billion, consulting for such international companies as Addax and Vitol and engaging with such renowned multinationals as total, mobil, oando, AP, wabeco and so on.
In 2009, He founded SC & C Bureau de change ltd, which was immediately among the elite class “A” bureau de change companies granted licences by the Central Bank of Nigeria to address the foreign exchange inadequacy plaguing the country at the time. His Chambaland properties & investment co ltd, has enormous interest in Lagos Real estate, especially at the up market end, while Oil Rigs Global Resources Ltd, is designed as an ancillary to his petroleum sector interests.
Dr Anyaso, sits on the boards of several companies with extensive interest in Real Estate development, Hospitality and Lifestyle, financial services and Healthcare.
Chimaobi Anyaso is the founder, Chima Anyaso Foundation, Founder and Sole sponsor of Ahuoma Anyaso Education foundation. He is also the convener of #NN19.
He is a recipient of the Forbes rated African Achievers Award for Community development and was Awarded Democracy Youth Icon of the year 2017. He was selected by Vanguard Newspaper and Champion Newspaper as one of the top 20 business Professionals in Nigeria.
Driven by a passion to make difference, Chima Anyaso is a man on a mission to bring development to his people and make positive impact in Nigerian political space.
In 2019, He campaigned vigorously for House of Representatives, Bende Federal Constituency and became the Candidate and Flagbearer for PDP, although he won the fight but lost the victory.
His passion for quality development, good life, good governance and redemption of Abia State, made he to campaigned and ran for gubernatorial ticket of PDP in 2022 primaries. Again he almost won the ticket if not for the powers that be.
He would later joined, Young Progressive Party (YPP) and became the Deputy Governorship Candidate, a joint ticket with Engr Enyinnaya Chima Nwafor.
Dr Anyaso has committed much of his times and resources to educatng the less privileged through the establishment of Ahuoma Anyaso Education foundation. An ultra modern tuition free nursery and primary school which he singlehandedly built and has sponsored for the period of 11yrs; paying staffs and providing school uniforms, and other writing materials for the pupils. The school caters to cover 500 pupils who are getting quality education absolutely free.
Through his Chima Anyaso Foundation, he runs periodic free medical outreach across Bende Federal Constituency, providing free medical outreach care to over 6,000 adult citizens across the 10 autonomous communities in Bende Federal Constituency and providing anti retro viral for AIDS patients in the area.
His hobbies includes traveling, playing tennis, listening to music and watching footballs. He is a member of ikoyi club, and the president of Umu Aba Connect Association of Nigeria.
Dr Desmond Anyaso is very committed to human capital development, youth empowerment and promoting political awareness amongst Nigerian youths.
He is happily married to Adanna and they are blessed with children
