A former Pro-Chancellor of the Abia State University Uturu, Chief Chuku Wachuku has charged all eligible voters to wake up to the reality of the fact that every vote will surely count come 2023.

Chief Wachuku, a leading aspirant for the Abia central senatorial ticket of the PDP who was a special guest at the National Convention of Ohamazuo Social Club of Nigeria held at the weekend in Mbawsi, Isiala Ngwa North L.G.A harped on the need for the people to shore up their voting strength using the remaining time of this last phase of the Continuous Voter Registration which lasts till June.

Addressing members of the Ohamazuo Social Club of Nigeria, the Pioneer DG of the NDE and incumbent President, Association of Agricultural and Entrepreneurs of Nigeria said empowering families and Small scale businesses through cooperative societies and smaller business entities remains the most robust strategy in reviving the economy and drastically reduce the unemployment and poverty rates in the country.

Answering questions posed to him by newsmen after the event regarding his senatorial ambition, Chief Wachuku said he remains the most qualified candidate for his party the PDP based on his experince, track record and pedigree in managing economy, networking as well as creation of ideas and innovations.

The entrepreneurship and SMEs Development expert stated unequivocally that 2023 is the turn of the Umunneato flank of Abia central to produce a senator for the zone in line with the existing equitable formular and advised those who are distorting facts about the matter or putting confusion that could fester disharmony to have a rethink.

Chief Wachuku assured that apart from prioritizing the empowerment of families and economic well being of his people against self through the setting up of industrial clusters and other programs, he will ensure that the younger generation is empowered to assume leadership roles.

He however called for the continued prayers and support to the Governor to ensure political stability to will culminate into a peaceful transition of government by May 29th 2023.

In his address earlier, National President of Ohamazuo Social Club of Nigeria Chamberlain Onyenowe who diffused impression that the Club is brain Child of a politician or politicians in the area revealed that their objectives align with the vision of Chief Chuku Wachuku and urged him remain resolute in his aspiration of positively turning around the economic life and fortunes of the people of Abia Central Senatorial Zone.
