A brief profile of Hon Lady Blessing Uwaoma nwokonneya (LSM)

Lady Blessing Uwaoma nwokonneya is an experienced administrator, professional banker and seasoned credit analyst with over 30yrs’ experience in major commercial and merchant banks in Nigeria.
She is very articulate, highly analytical, exceptional results oriented and has successfully lead high performing team in the financial services industry.

While as Access bank/intercontinental bank plc, Lady Blessing won several awards as the best performing manager and contributed immensely towards growing the loan assets and mobilizing deposits for the bank.

As a team lead in Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) incharge of the whole south East, she posted a star performance and excelled in the loan recovery mandate of the corporation.
And having excelled in her profession career, Blessing veered into politics and won the ticket of All Progressive Congress (APC) for the federal house of representatives seat for Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency, Abia State in the 2019 general Election. She won the vote but lost the election.

A trial blazer and astute political mobilizer. The records and news of her unprecedented exploits at the last election is still trending till date.

In December, 2018 a highly reputable daily newspaper; Abia Newspaper Ltd awarded her a prize as the most popular female politician of the year.

She is a fellow of the prestigious Institute of Credit Administration, fellow of Chartered institute of loan and Risk Management of Nigeria and happily married to Ezeji(Sir) Ephraim C. Nwokonneya Fca and they are blessed with three lovely children.
